Determine which version of GNOME is running

You can determine the version of GNOME that is running on your system by going to the Details/About panel in Settings.

Open the Activities overview and start typing About.
Click on About to open the panel.

A window appears showing information about your system, including your distribution’s name and the GNOME version.

You can choose the displayed language by adding a language suffix to the web address so it ends with e.g. .html.en or .html.de.
If the web address has no language suffix, the preferred language specified in your web browser's settings is used. For your convenience:
